Houston SPCA Pet of the Week: Mitzy
Mitzy is a one year-old female weighing 65.8 pounds. She is currently under the care of the Houston SPCA and is looking for a furever home! Since she came with the Houston SPCA's Cruelty Investigations team with a little background, the care team at Houston SPCA is just getting to know her bubbly personality.
She is a sweet girl looking for her new yard to call her own and let out any zoomies. Running and playtime are great, but naps are just as important. Everyone becomes her friend with a tasty treat and some scratches. Mitzy is eager to learn more tricks, she has a lot to offer and is eager to prove it. She's a pretty motivated walker and is interested in everything and everyone around her.
Be ready to embark on an epic adventure together - she's waiting to be the shining star in your life. Her adoption fee is already sponsored, thanks to Texans punter Cameron Johnston and his wife, Tia. If you are ready for this beautiful gal to join your home grab a leash and collar and come on down today! Every adoption includes a microchip, spay/neuter surgery, up-to-date vaccinations, a free sample bag of Hill’s Pet Nutrition, and a free post-exam from any VCA Animal Hospital.
The Houston SPCA Adoption Center is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Adoptions are open daily Monday through Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can view all the available pets in advance at houstonspca.org. To learn more about Houston SPCA, please visit their website at houstonspca.org.
