Get ready to embrace the sparkle of the season as Holiday on The Waterway brings festive wonder to The Woodlands, Texas, with more than one million dazzling lights illuminating the scenic 1.8-mile Waterway. The beloved seasonal experience runs from November 22, 2025, through January 4, 2026, transforming the heart of Town Center into a glowing, family-friendly winter wonderland.

This free, walkable light display invites guests from across Montgomery County, Harris County, and beyond to explore The Woodlands Waterway®, where glowing arches, shimmering tunnels, and radiant reflections create a breathtaking backdrop for the holidays.

Whether you're capturing a magical family photo, taking a quiet evening stroll, or seeking fun holiday things to do in The Woodlands with kids, Holiday on The Waterway is one of the top holiday events near Houston this winter.

A Stroll to Remember in The Woodlands

Stretching from The Woodlands Mall to Hughes Landing, the Waterway offers a picturesque path filled with photo-worthy moments at every turn. Visitors are encouraged to plan ahead with convenient public parking at:

  • Town Center Garage – 2005 Lake Robbins Drive (near The Pavilion)
  • Waterway Square Garage – 1505 Lake Robbins Drive (adjacent to Waterway Square)
  • Orange Lot – 2204 Timberloch Place (near Riva Row Boat House)

For a more relaxing way to explore, hop on the free Town Center Trolley, connecting Market Street, Waterway Square, and more. It’s a stress-free way to enjoy all the holiday lights and local shops along the route.
