HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress Appoints Dr. Bryan Miller as Chief Medical Officer
HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress has announced the appointment of Dr. Bryan Miller as its new Chief Medical Officer (CMO), effective December 30, 2024. Dr. Miller, a board-certified family medicine physician, brings over a decade of experience in healthcare leadership and quality improvement to his new role at the Cypress-based hospital.
Dr. Miller's leadership journey began in 2010 at Slidell Memorial Hospital (SMH), where he held several influential positions, including Medical Director of Primary Care, Medical Director of Quality, and Chief Medical Officer. He also served as Vice President of Medical Affairs for the Physician Network during his tenure.

In 2020, Dr. Miller joined the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System (FMOLHS). There, he served as the Chief Medical Officer of Our Lady of The Angels Hospital and Physician Executive for the Northshore and Baton Rouge regions. In early 2022, Dr. Miller took on the interim role of Market President for the Northshore market, continuing to manage his primary responsibilities. By the end of the year, he transitioned to Vice President and Chief Clinical Transformation Officer for FMOLHS.
Dr. Miller’s extensive leadership background is complemented by 25 years of clinical practice, which he spent primarily in his hometown of Slidell, Louisiana. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama Birmingham and went on to attend medical school and residency at the University of South Alabama. In 2019, he completed Physician Leadership Training at the Tulane School of Public Health in New Orleans, further enhancing his executive leadership skills.

His expertise in developing physician leaders, leading patient and provider engagement, and driving performance improvement initiatives will play a pivotal role in advancing the hospital's mission to provide high-quality healthcare to the Cypress community.
