Harris County Fair and Rodeo Pageant Forms Now Open

Young men and women from kindergarten through twelfth grade are invited to enter for a chance to be the next crowned representative of the Harris County Fair.

The Pageant is open to all Harris County 4-H and FFA students. Ideal candidates will represent the stock show life and advocate for the Harris County Fair with the most dignity and determination. Entry forms are now open for the Harris County Fair Pageant and Royalty. The entry deadline is September 1 by 11:55 PM, with a late deadline entry set for September 10 at 11:55 PM. Note that the entry fee when submitted by the deadline is $30, while the late entry fee is $60. The contest will be held on Sunday, September 17 at Jacinto City Town Hall.

It is a contest to select the Fair Royalty representing the youth of the Harris County Fair and Rodeo! The winners will attend the Harris County Fair and Rodeo, and will have the opportunity to represent the Fair throughout their reign in other public events. The Fair will be promoted through out the year with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Parades in Houston, news stations, Make A Wish foundation, and other fundraisers.

Age divisions are listed below and contestants can also enter other categories including: Best Smile, Best Hair, Best Outfit, Best Resume (Highschool), Best Photography and Top Hand (most sponsored contestant). Be sure to check out the rules to learn more. King, Queen, and Top Hand (Top Hand new for 2023 depending on the funds raised) are eligible for scholarships.

PAGEANT

Queen: 12th grade
Princess: 9th - 11th grade
Junior Princess: 6-8th grade
Little Princess: K-5th grade

ROYALTY

King: 12th grade
Prince: 9th - 11th grade
Junior Prince: 6-8th grade
Little Prince: K-5th grade
