Hans Crawfish Brings Award-Winning Crawfish to The Barn in Cypress

Hans Crawfish, renowned for its award-winning and uniquely seasoned crawfish, is embarking on an exciting new chapter by partnering with The Barn at The Frio Hill Country Grill in Cypress. Renovated from a wood working barn, The Barn combines a laid-back Texas atmosphere with modern amenities and shaded patios under majestic oak trees, drawing visitors for live music, sports, and private events. This collaboration marks a fresh start for Hans Crawfish, following a series of challenges last year. 

“We’re thrilled to team up with The Barn,” said Hans Stevens, co-owner of Hans Crawfish. “Their beautiful space and supportive team have made it possible for us to continue sharing our product with our incredible community.”

The move comes as the Stevens family faced setbacks, including a forced closure of their Tomball location due to fire code issues. Despite the difficulties, the couple’s dedication to providing high-quality crawfish and their loyal patrons’ unwavering support have kept their business thriving. Following the closure, 2920 Roadhouse graciously welcomed Hans Crawfish with open arms, giving the Stevens family a place to sell their mouth-watering crawfish to hungry patrons at the popular hang-out.

The new location at The Barn will operate during Hans Crawfish’s normal hours from Thursday to Sunday, with an opening date anticipated by the end of January. “We’re keeping a close eye on the weather and the catch,” Stevens explained. “We’ll announce a start date as soon as we’re confident we can deliver the quality our customers expect.” The collaboration promises not just exceptional food but also an unforgettable dining atmosphere, blending delicious crawfish with The Barn’s rustic charm and lively entertainment.

Hans Crawfish has garnered a loyal following for its commitment to using rich, made-from-scratch seasonings. The business rose to fame through its flavorful offerings and warm customer service, overcoming challenges like adverse weather impacting the crawfish supply chain. In a remarkable comeback, Hans Crawfish was awarded "Best Crawfish" by Houstonians in the Houston Chronicle Best of the Best 2024 Awards, cementing their status as a beloved staple among locals.

“The journey hasn’t been easy, but the outpouring of support from our community has been humbling,” Stevens shared. “It reminds us why we started this business—to connect with people through great food and great experiences.”
