Grand Lakes Gators Swim Team Announces 2024 Swim Season Registration
Summer is fast approaching, and that means swim season is just around the corner! The Grand Lakes Gators Swim Team is gearing up for another exciting swim season, and Grand Lakes kiddos are invited to join the fun this summer.
Grand Lakes Swim Team (GLST) is a non-profit, volunteer led organization. We provide interested Grand Lakes youths the opportunity to participate in a quality competitive summer swimming program. Our goal is to provide personal growth, self-esteem, enjoyment and introduction to the lifelong health benefits of the sport of swimming. The sport will be taught in a fun environment while nurturing a competitive attitude and allowing each swimmer to progress at their own rate.
New swimmer registration will open online on March 6, starting at 8:00 PM! Please note that the registration window is estimated to close on April 1 at 9:00 PM, unless the team reaches capacity earlier.
Eligibility
- GLST is available to all swimmers that are residents of Grand Lakes ages 4 to 18 as of May 1st of the current year
- A swimmer must be a novice swimmer as defined by WHALe
- A swimmer cannot have swum on any college or university swim team
- 6 & under swimmers must be able to legally swim freestyle across the pool
- 7 & up swimmers must be able to legally swim freestyle and backstroke across the pool unassisted
The Grand Lakes Swim Team uses our neighborhood pools for practices and home meets. Practices and Home Swim Meets are held at the Grand Brooks Pool, located at W Grand Brooks, Katy, TX 77450.
