Governor's Place Independence Day Celebration Was a Success!

Many thanks to all the folks that participated in our 38th Annual Independence Day Celebration at Governors Place. Was it hot or what! The gathering, parade and pool activities were some of the fond memories that we can all share. Plus, we learned a lot about Benjamin Franklin.
My appeal two years ago to expand the committee was answered. We have two new families that really handled the majority of the activities this year. Thank you DeeAnn and David Jones & Chris and Erin Conti!
We also had donations from several homeowners (including the Jones' and Conti's). Thank you to Jan Surmacz, Michael Fischer, Claudia Iselt and Fowzia Malik. And of course our Sheriff's department, Fire Station HCESD #48 and the Scouts!

Remember to get out into the neighborhood for Neighbor Night Out and meet your neighbors! This year Texas celebrates Neighbor Night out on Tuesday, October 3rd. We are planning to have the Clubhouse be a gathering spot.
