Fulshear Simonton Fire Department Celebrates Grand Opening of State-of-the-Art Fire Station #4 in Cross Creek Ranch
On October 9th, the Fulshear Simonton Fire Department (FSFD) will celebrate the grand opening of Fire Station #4 located in the Cross Creek Ranch community with an open house and hose uncoupling ceremony. The community is invited to commemorate the occasion from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, with an opportunity to meet local firefighters and ESD Commissioners, tour the new fire station and enjoy giveaways.
Plans for the new station were announced in July 2021 when the FSFD detailed the construction of an 11,650 sq. ft. facility. The land for the station was generously donated by Johnson Development. A temporary station was established in Cross Creek Ranch, laying the groundwork for the permanent facility, which broke ground in April 2023.
Fire Station #4 will be outfitted with modern amenities and superior engineered systems to not only improve the wellbeing of the emergency responders, but also reduce response times within the rapidly growing Cross Creek Ranch and neighboring regions.

The station is backed by Fort Bend County Emergency Services District #4, a government body responsible for providing emergency fire services within a 100 sq. miles radius of the Fulshear area. The district functions as FSFD and is committed to ensuring that adequate facilities and personnel are in place to cater to the expected growth.
Cross Creek Ranch itself is a sprawling 3,200-acre community that is already home to nearly 4,000 families. Johnson Development Co., the community's developer, projects that the community will eventually consist of a total of 7,000 homes.
The FSFD's new station is the creation of Martinez Architects. Based in Houston, this firm specializes in the design of fire stations throughout Texas. The strategic location of the fire station at 8825 W. Cross Creek Bend Lane in Fulshear aims to serve as a vital hub for emergency services within the community and beyond.
