Exclusive Furniture Coming to Tomball: Houston-Based Retailer Expands with 10th Storefront
Exclusive Furniture, a well-known Houston-based home furnishings retailer, is bringing its expanding brand to Tomball with a new storefront at 27816 State Highway 249. The location, which previously housed a Big Lots store that has closed, will become the company’s 10th store in the Greater Houston area.
Founded in 1998 by CEO Sam Zavary, Exclusive Furniture has grown from a modest 2,100-square-foot showroom inside Almeda Mall to a multi-location furniture chain recognized across the region. The company’s reputation was built on offering a wide selection of quality furniture at competitive prices, as well as a strong commitment to customer service and community involvement.
Exclusive Furniture’s Tomball location is expected to serve a growing population in northwest Harris County, including nearby areas such as Spring, Magnolia, and The Woodlands. With increasing demand for home furnishings in the suburbs, the store’s placement along the high-traffic SH 249 corridor is strategic for both visibility and accessibility.

Customers can expect a full selection of living room sets, bedroom furniture, dining collections, home office desks, mattresses, kids' furniture, and decorative accessories. The retailer is known for blending traditional, transitional, and modern styles to fit a variety of tastes and budgets. Flagship stores often include family-friendly features like kids’ play areas and in-store cafés, which have become signature touches in the Exclusive Furniture shopping experience.
Since its founding, Exclusive Furniture has become a trusted name among Houston furniture stores. Early growth was fueled by aggressive local marketing and the recognizable persona of “Super Sam” on television, with the memorable slogan “Where Low Prices Live!” As the company expanded, it opened flagship locations in Humble, Richmond, Cypress, and Webster, alongside a clearance center and several satellite stores.
Beyond sales, the company has a history of giving back. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Exclusive Furniture helped Houston welcome evacuees with essential supplies. During Hurricane Harvey, the company donated over $60,000 in goods and contributed to relief efforts through partnerships with local organizations. These efforts have solidified its standing not just as a retailer, but as a community-focused business.
