Exciting Progress at Eagle Landing Park: A New Era of Recreation in Fulshear

August 28 2024

Significant strides have been made in the construction of Eagle Landing Park, a new recreational complex located at 4131 Woods Road in Fulshear. Following the celebrated groundbreaking ceremony on March 26th, the City of Fulshear is excited to report substantial progress on the site's infrastructure. Notably, the installation of waterline, sanitary sewer, and storm drains has been finished, while the fields have been ditch cut for optimum drainage. The efforts have also seen the setting off of a driveway for the Woods Road entrance and the stabilization of a spacious parking lot envisioned to accommodate up to 310 vehicles.

Concrete forms have commenced on the west side, and further pours will proceed weather permitting. Following the completion of all concrete work, notably sidewalks, the next crucial phase will involve building the restroom and a pavilion.

Eagle Landing Park, a project estimated to cost approximately $4,692,885 according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, is poised to significantly enhance the recreational landscape in Fulshear. A host of amenities are planned, including full-sized and youth soccer fields, an extensive range of playground apparatus, restroom and concession facilities, and a covered patio area equipped with tables.

A key feature of the park will be a 2,000 square foot concession facility, which will also serve as the location for the main restrooms, storage area, and the concession stand. Uniquely designed to benefit from natural ventilation, the restrooms are expected to service the needs of over 20 different sports field activities. Visitors to the park can anticipate a convenient "grab-and-go" food and beverage service, while additional variety is expected through the invitation of outdoor third-party vendors to offer a wide range of items directly to park-goers.
