Everbowl Plans First San Antonio Location in Alamo Ranch, Bringing Açaí Bowls and Smoothies to Loop 1604

July 30 2026

Residents searching for açaí bowls, smoothies and lighter dining options in Alamo Ranch will soon have a new choice close to home.

Everbowl is planning its first San Antonio location at 5619 W. Loop 1604 North, Suite 117, according to a state project filing. The 1,100-square-foot restaurant will occupy an existing retail space in the fast-growing Alamo Ranch area, expanding the mix of quick-service dining options available to families, shoppers and commuters along the Loop 1604 corridor.

Renovation work is scheduled to begin Sept. 7, 2026, with completion anticipated by Nov. 18, 2026. The project carries an estimated construction cost of $107,000. Construction schedules can change, and an official opening date has not yet been announced.

A New Healthy Dining Option for Alamo Ranch

The addition could be especially welcome for residents looking for meals that feel more substantial than a snack but lighter than traditional fast food.

Everbowl specializes in made-to-order superfood bowls and smoothies built around fruit-forward ingredients. Customers can select a prepared combination or create a customized “Whatever Bowl” by choosing a base, fruit and toppings.

The company’s selection of bases includes açaí, pitaya, mango, cacao, vanilla, chia pudding and its bright-blue Blue Majic blend. Available toppings and add-ons vary by location but may include strawberries, bananas, blueberries, pineapple, kiwi, granola, nut butters, coconut flakes, cacao nibs, chia seeds, honey and other ingredients.

Smoothies and locally selected menu favorites are also part of the concept. The company describes its menu as freshly prepared food intended to support movement and active lifestyles rather than a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach to wellness.

For Alamo Ranch families, the restaurant could work equally well as a quick breakfast stop, an after-school treat, a post-workout meal or a casual option during a day of shopping.

Everbowl Has Grown From California Startup to National Brand

Everbowl was founded by entrepreneur Jeff Fenster in Southern California in 2016. Since opening its first store, the quick-service brand has expanded to more than 100 operating locations across the United States, with hundreds of additional franchise units reportedly in development.

The brand has built its identity around what it calls an “UNEVOLVE” lifestyle: returning to simple foods, staying active and making everyday wellness feel approachable. That outlook shapes both its menu and its casual, customizable restaurant format.

Rather than limiting guests to fixed recipes, Everbowl allows customers to combine different bases, fruits and toppings according to their tastes. That flexibility can make the concept useful for households in which everyone wants something different—from a familiar strawberry-and-banana bowl to combinations featuring pitaya, matcha, chia pudding or cacao.

The company also offers mobile ordering and a rewards program through its app, giving customers the option to order ahead and pick up their food without waiting in line.

First Everbowl in San Antonio

Everbowl already operates in several Texas markets, including Flower Mound and Plano, but the Alamo Ranch restaurant is expected to mark the chain’s entrance into San Antonio.

Its arrival also reflects the continued growth of Alamo Ranch as a regional dining and retail destination. The surrounding area serves established neighborhoods as well as newer residential development across San Antonio’s Far West Side, creating steady demand for convenient restaurants that can accommodate busy schedules.

Once open, the new Everbowl will add a distinct category to the local food scene. While the area already offers numerous coffee shops, dessert businesses and fast-casual restaurants, dedicated açaí bowl and smoothie concepts remain a more specialized option.

What Happens Next

Renovations are currently expected to continue through mid-November. The company has not announced a grand-opening date, operating hours or local hiring information.

Residents should also keep in mind that dates included in early construction filings are estimates and may shift as permitting, equipment installation and final inspections move forward.

For now, the filing offers the clearest indication yet that Everbowl is preparing to bring its customizable superfood bowls and smoothies to Alamo Ranch.
