7 Brew Coffee Plans New Location on Bandera Road in San Antonio for 2027

San Antonio / New Braunfels
November 05 2026

San Antonio's growing list of drive-thru coffee shops is getting another addition. 7 Brew Coffee is planning a new location at 703 Bandera Road in San Antonio, with construction expected to begin in March 2027.

According to a construction filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), the project calls for a new 550-square-foot coffee stand with an estimated construction cost of $1 million. Work is scheduled to begin March 1, 2027, and wrap up July 1, 2027, although an official opening date has not been announced.

The new location would give residents in the surrounding West San Antonio area another option for their morning coffee, afternoon pick-me-up or an after-school treat, while adding to the growing number of 7 Brew stands already operating throughout the city.

From One Arkansas Coffee Stand to Hundreds Across the Country

For those who haven't tried 7 Brew yet, the concept is a little different from the typical coffee shop.

There are no tables to settle into with a laptop or couches to linger on for an afternoon. Instead, the focus is on getting customers their drinks quickly, with employees taking orders outside and bringing beverages directly to vehicles.

The company opened its first stand in Rogers, Arkansas, in 2017, with a menu built around seven original coffee drinks. Those early offerings eventually inspired the name 7 Brew.

What started as a single coffee stand has grown into a national chain with hundreds of locations, including an expanding presence throughout Texas.

Part of the appeal is the ordering experience. Rather than asking customers to choose from a handful of standard drinks, 7 Brew offers a long list of flavors, combinations and customizations, along with a service style that puts considerable emphasis on friendly interaction.

The company's employees, known as the Brew Crew, are a recognizable part of that approach, often greeting customers and taking orders while vehicles move through the drive-thru lanes.

What's on the 7 Brew Coffee Menu?

Although coffee is at the heart of the business, the menu has plenty of options for people who don't drink it.

Among the chain's best-known drinks is the Blondie, a creamy caramel and vanilla breve. Other signature coffees include the Brunette, which combines hazelnut and caramel mocha flavors, and the Smooth 7, made with white chocolate and Irish cream flavors.

Traditional coffee drinkers can order lattes, mochas, cappuccinos, americanos and cold brew, with options to adjust flavors, sweetness and milk choices.

The menu also includes 7 Energy drinks, flavored sparkling sodas called 7 Fizz, lemonades, teas, chai, smoothies and shakes.

Customers can customize their drinks with different flavors, alternative milks and sugar-free options, creating thousands of possible combinations.

That variety has helped make the chain appealing to more than just coffee drinkers. A parent picking up smoothies for the kids, a commuter grabbing an iced latte and someone looking for a flavored energy drink can all find something on the same menu.

The specific offerings at the planned Bandera Road location have not yet been announced, but the company's full menu is available at 7brew.com.

7 Brew Continues Expanding Across San Antonio

The proposed location at 703 Bandera Road is not 7 Brew's first venture into San Antonio.

The company already has a presence in several parts of the city, with locations along Culebra Road, Potranco Road, SE Military Drive and Interstate 35. Nearby communities, including Helotes and Leon Valley, also have 7 Brew locations.

And the expansion isn't stopping there.

Additional 7 Brew projects have been identified in construction filings for other San Antonio-area addresses, including De Zavala Road, Wurzbach Road, Alamo Ranch and Rigsby Avenue.

Another project along Bandera Road, at 12405 Bandera Road in Helotes, is separate from the proposed 703 Bandera Road location.

The growing number of locations gives an indication of how aggressively the chain is expanding in the San Antonio market, where drive-thru coffee businesses have become an increasingly familiar sight along busy commercial corridors.

For residents, the result is more choices when it comes to picking up coffee close to home, work or school.

What Happens Next for the Bandera Road Location?

The new 7 Brew at 703 Bandera Road is currently scheduled for a four-month construction period, beginning March 1 and ending July 1, 2027.

The filing identifies the project as new construction, with a 550-square-foot building and an estimated cost of $1 million.

As with other commercial developments, construction schedules can change, and the anticipated July completion date does not necessarily mean the business will open immediately afterward.

7 Brew has not yet announced a grand opening date, hiring information or operating hours for the new San Antonio location.

Still, for residents who regularly travel Bandera Road, the project is one more business to keep an eye on as the area's dining and beverage options continue to grow.

And for those who already have a favorite 7 Brew order, another location could eventually make that morning coffee run a little more convenient.
