EōS Fitness Opens Massive New Northwest Houston Gym With Indoor Pool, Recovery Lounge and 24-Hour Access

EōS Fitness has officially opened its newest Houston-area location at 9244 W Sam Houston Pkwy N in the West 8 Crossing shopping center, marking the company’s seventh gym in Houston and 28th in Texas. Formerly an LA Fitness location, the 45,000-square-foot facility combines high-end fitness offerings with budget-friendly membership pricing, creating what company leaders describe as a “High Value. Low Price.” experience for members of all fitness levels.
For nearby residents, the new gym means expanded access to around-the-clock fitness, recovery services, indoor aquatic facilities and group wellness programs without needing to travel far from home.
One of the facility’s most notable features is its nearly 4,000-square-foot indoor pool — only the second EōS Fitness location in Houston to offer one. With summer temperatures already climbing across Greater Houston, the indoor aquatic area arrives at a time when many families and residents are looking for ways to stay active while escaping the heat.
The new EōS Fitness gym officially opened May 21 and operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
New Northwest Houston Gym Brings Expanded Fitness and Recovery Amenities
Inside the new Northwest Houston EōS Fitness location, members will find a wide range of workout spaces designed for beginners, experienced athletes and everyone in between.
The facility includes extensive cardio and strength-training equipment, free weights up to 150 pounds and EōS Smart Strength Equipment powered by EGYM, which personalizes workouts based on individual fitness goals.
The gym also features specialty workout spaces aimed at creating a more engaging and community-driven fitness experience. Among them is “The Set,” a dedicated content-creation workout area with custom art installations and lighting curated by local artists, designed for members who enjoy documenting their fitness journeys online.

- The EōS Yard® indoor turf training area
- The Booty Builder Lab focused on glute-strengthening workouts
- Group fitness classes throughout the week
- Small-group and personal training programs

The facility includes “The Tank,” a recovery space equipped with Hyperice percussion massagers, Normatec compression boots and professional-grade stretch tables. Members also have access to “The Recovery Room,” featuring massage chairs, ambient lighting and CryoLounge+ seating designed to help reduce soreness and improve recovery after workouts.
Additional amenities include saunas, a hot tub, towel service and locker rooms with showers.
Affordable Memberships Aim to Broaden Access to Fitness
As gym membership costs continue rising nationally, EōS Fitness is positioning itself as a lower-cost alternative with premium-style amenities. Memberships at the Northwest Houston location start at $9.99 per month.
The company says its goal is to create an inclusive fitness environment welcoming to both longtime gym-goers and first-time members.
EōS Fitness currently has more than 225 locations open or in development across several states, including Texas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, Utah and Southern California.
West 8 Crossing Project Brings New Wellness Option to Northwest Houston
According to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing, the West 8 Crossing project involved approximately $3.4 million in renovations and improvements to convert the 45,347-square-foot structure into a full-service health and fitness club. Construction on the project began in May 2025.
