Donate Non-Perishable Food to the MESA Outreach Food Drive
On Saturday, October 14, MESA Outreach will hold a Food Drive from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and they need your help.
Food donations are drastically needed for MESA's Food Pantry, as shelves must be restocked to serve those who are food insufficient in our community. In September, MESA served 576 families representing 2,214 individuals who are in need of food to feed their families. The need is great and continues to rise.
Please consider donating non-perishable canned or boxed foods this Saturday morning to MESA’s Food Pantry at 16000 Rippling Water Drive on the campus of Bear Creek United Methodist Church. MESA's Food Pantry is in the greatest need of the following items:
- Canned meats: tuna, chicken, spam, chili, ravioli, etc.
- Instant or scalloped potatoes and macaroni & cheese
- Spaghetti, rice and dried beans 1# or 2# bags preferred
- Canned spaghetti sauce and tomato sauce or paste
- All types of soups: creams, broths and chunky
- Boxed cereals and oatmeal, breakfast or snack bars
- Peanut butter and grape or strawberry jelly
- Canned fruits and applesauce
- Canned vegetables and canned beans all varieties
NOTE: Due to the possibility of breakage, please do not purchase and donate food items in glass containers. Thank you for understanding.
Thank you in advance for helping MESA serve those in need! Together, we can make a difference!
