Did You Know? Heavy Trash Services in West Memorial Make Cleanups Easy!
January 30 2025
Did you know that residents of West Memorial have easy access to heavy trash collection, helping to keep the neighborhood clean and clutter-free? Your trash and recycling services provider, Texas Pride Disposal, offers convenient heavy trash services with a simple and clear process to dispose of bulk items that don't typically go into your regular trash bin.
Here's a quick rundown of how heavy trash services work:
Collection Days
Two heavy items are collected every service day, including both Wednesday and Saturday. This gives residents two opportunities each week to clear out larger items.
What’s Considered Heavy Trash?
Heavy trash or bulk waste includes items such as:
-
Furniture: Couches, tables, mattresses, box springs, desks, and dressers
-
Appliances: Washers, dryers, dishwashers, and hot water heaters
-
Fencing/Decking/Siding: Please remove nails, cut the pieces into 4' lengths or less, and tie and bundle them under 50 pounds (maximum of eight bundles per service day).
-
Trampolines: Break down the trampoline and place the metal parts with recycling if possible.
-
Basketball Goals: Break down into sections of 4' or less, ensuring no concrete remains in the base or poles.
-
Carpeting/Flooring: Cut into lengths of 4' or shorter, tie and bundle them under 50 pounds (limit eight bundles per service day).
