Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Katy Participates in Brandwide 85th Anniversary Kids Eat Free Promotion
As families in Westlake Forest return to regular routines after the holidays, a nearby restaurant along North Mason Road is participating in a nationwide promotion tied to Dickey’s Barbecue Pit’s 85th anniversary.
From December 26, 2025, through January 31, 2026, participating Dickey’s Barbecue Pit locations—including the restaurant at 2710 N Mason Rd Suite 110 in Katy—are offering Kids Eat Free every day as part of the brand’s anniversary kickoff. The promotion expands on Dickey’s traditional Sunday-only offer during this limited-time period.
Under the promotion, guests receive one free kids meal with the purchase of a $15 adult meal. Each kids meal includes a slow-smoked meat, a homestyle side, and a Lil’ Yellow Cup. The offer is valid for dine-in, carryout, and online orders at Dickeys.com, with one free kids meal per order.

“Dickey’s is about bringing families together over great barbecue,” said Laura Rea Dickey, CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. “Kids Eat Free everyday is a simple way for us to say thank you and to continue offering genuine value for folks.”
Founded in 1941, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit has grown into the world’s largest barbecue franchise, operating 387 locations in the U.S. and internationally. The anniversary promotion is being offered at the brand level rather than tied to a single location.
For residents near Mason Road in Katy, the promotion provides another dining option during a busy season for families.
