CFISD ATHLETES SIGN LETTERS OF INTENT ON NATIONAL SIGNING DAY 2023 
Nearly 90 CFISD athletes signed letters of intent to play collegiate athletics for colleges and universities on National Signing Day, Feb. 1.

Football 
  • Adeniyi Adegboyega, Texas Wesleyan University; 
  • Jayven Jackson, Prairie View A&M University; 
  • Isaiah Keller, Texas Wesleyan University; 
  • Khari Leary, Texas Wesleyan University; and 
  • Lonnie Leary Jr., Lamar University. 
Girls’ Soccer 
  • Fernanda Maldonado, Dallas Christian College. 
Volleyball 
  • Jordyn Jones, Alabama State University. 
Five Cypress Springs High School football players were among more than 80 student-athletes across CFISD to sign letters of intent on the first day of the regular signing period, which began Feb. 1.
