Cy-Ridge PALS Serve in Houston

On Monday, April 17th, Cy-Ridge PALS took a field trip downtown to an organization called Impact Houston. In addition to working with Impact Houston staff to learn about homelessness and poverty in our city, these students also assisted in packing and sorting food and clothes as well as cooking, serving, and sharing a meal with homeless men and women. This humbling experience gave our students a sense of satisfaction, a greater understanding of people in need, and a heightened appreciation for their own lives.
