Cy-Fair Women’s Club Awards 19 Scholarships to Local Graduating Seniors in 2025 Ceremony

May 02 2025

On the evening of May 1, 2025, the Cy-Fair Women’s Club (CWC) held its annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony at Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital, honoring 19 graduating high school seniors from across the Cy-Fair community. Each student was recognized for their academic achievement, service to others, and future potential as they prepare to enter colleges and universities across the country.

This year’s recipients represented a wide range of schools and aspirations, with students pursuing careers in fields such as nursing, engineering, business, and public health. Debbie Dillard with Harris County Precinct 3 and Meagan Blackwell with Harris County Precinct 4 joined the celebration to help present the awards and offer words of encouragement on behalf of local government.

The scholarships—each valued at $2,000—were made possible through the Club’s annual Shop ’til You Drop fundraiser held each fall at the Berry Center, as well as the generous support of community sponsors. Since its founding in 1982, the Cy-Fair Women’s Club has awarded hundreds of scholarships, reinforcing its mission to uplift future leaders through education.
