Cy-Fair Women's Club Attracts Over 5,000 Shoppers at Annual Shop 'til You Drop
October 04 2023
On September 9, Cy-Fair's highly anticipated Shop 'til You Drop shopping extravaganza sprawled across the Berry Center with over 275 vendors selling items from hair bows to large-scale outdoor decor and everything between.
Hosted by Cy-Fair Women's Club (CWC), this beloved shopping event is the CWC's annual fundraiser that allows the organization to put funds right back in to the community through scholarships for Cy-Fair ISD graduating seniors and other nonprofits in the area. Kendra Scott and Creative Lee Studios even gave back a part of their sales to Shop 'til You Drop 2023. This year's event attracted approximately 5,100 attendees who enjoyed shopping from a variety of vendors and small participating businesses who offered clothing, toys, wood working, crafts, home decor, delicious foods, and much more.
The success of this annual fundraiser is made possible by efforts of many dedicated volunteers working behind the scenes throughout the year, as well as during setup in the days prior to the event and assisting with various positions on the day of the event. This year's Shop 'til You Drop was supported by 62 CWC members who volunteered over the setup day and the event day, three CWC spouses volunteer over the two days, seven Community Partner volunteers from HCA North Cypress across both days, 6 student volunteers on setup day and 10 student volunteers on the event day.
With the 2023 edition of Shop 'til You Drop under their belt, planning is already underway for next year's installment. Planning for this shopping experience typically takes about one year and is organized by a special committee within the CWC.
