Cy-Fair Women's Club 2023 Scholarship Applications Now Open

November 01 2022

Cy-Fair Women’s Club opens their 2023 Scholarship Applications.  It’s Scholarship Time — looking for high school senior men and women.

The Cy-Fair Women’s Club is dedicated to helping the community through fundraising for worthwhile organizations who serve others. Successful candidates for our scholarship should demonstrate a strong commitment to serve others, as well as academic achievements, involvement in their school, leadership qualities, and personal character. The primary focus of this scholarship is to award students who give back to their community through community service.

Each year the Cy-Fair Women’s Club awards on average 20 scholarships to high school seniors and has awarded $307,000 scholarships in the past.  The main source of our scholarships is our annual fundraiser, Shop ‘til You Drop, held the 2nd Saturday in September each year.  Other sources include community partners, concession stands, and other fundraisers.

Who can apply?

High school seniors (both men and women) who reside in the Cypress-Fairbank ISD boundaries and are graduating from any Cy-Fair ISD high school, home school, or private school—and are planning to attend, on a full-time basis, an accredited two or four year college, university, or technical school.  Applicants must have taken the SAT or ACT or a college placement test (Compass, Asset or THEA will be accepted) and passed all parts of the STARR test (or the equivalent thereof).

What is the deadline?

February 6, 2023

Where do I find the scholarship application?
