Cy-Fair FCU Unveils School Spirit Debit Cards for Fiest, Bang Elementary Schools

October 17 2024

Representatives from Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union (Cy-Fair FCU) visited staff members at Fiest Elementary School and Bang Elementary School to unveil their new branded Cy-Fair FCU school spirit debit cards. Fiest and Bang are the first CFISD elementary schools to receive a branded Cy-Fair FCU school spirit debit card.

Fiest and Bang Elementary schools are Adopt-a-School partners with Cy-Fair FCU through CFISD’s Adopt-a-School program. Jacob Wills, Cy-Fair FCU vice president of business development, expressed excitement to unveil the branded debit cards for Fiest and Bang.

“At Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union, we are incredibly excited to launch our school spirit debit cards exclusively for our adopted schools, Fiest Elementary and Bang Elementary,” Wills said. “We told the campuses when we adopted them that we were in it for the long haul, and this is just one way that we’re seeing that commitment through. We launched our school spirit debit card program in 2016. Since then, we’ve donated more than $184,000 back to our 12 CFISD High Schools. So, we had a thought, why not show the same love to our adopted partners? Aside from these being our cutest offerings to date, they also help raise money for the students, teachers and programs at these campuses. Usage of these cards continue to generate funds for the schools at no cost to the cardholders!”
