Cy-Fair Educational Foundation Sporting Clay Tournament Set to Return in August
On Wednesday, August 31, 2023, the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation (CFEF) will host its 2nd Sporting Clay Tournament.
Sporting clay shoots are like golf with unpredictable play as teams progress through challenging clay target stations simulating field shooting. The tournament will be held at the Westside Sporting Grounds, a premier sporting clay club in Katy, Texas. Memorial Hermann Cypress is underwriting the event and has been a CFEF Foundation Partner since 2016. The day will include a delicious catered meal sponsored by The Backyard Grill and Creekwood Grill, raffle, and more as outdoor enthusiasts compete for a chance to win first, second and third place.
A 501(c)3 non-profit organization, CFEF was established in 1970 to provide scholarships for Cypress-Fairbanks ISD graduating seniors. This year, the Foundation will provide over $880,000 in scholarships for almost $12 million over the past 53 years.
