Crust Pizza Co. to Open New Katy Location in Elyson
A new Crust Pizza Co. location is coming to the Katy area in Elyson. The upcoming restaurant, located at 22219 FM 529 Suite 105, will bring its unique array of pizzas and Italian-inspired dishes closer to Katy's residents near the Elyson Target and Burlington stores, and close to the highly anticipated H-E-B. The interior construction, beginning in early December, is set to kick off in early December and wrap up in May 2025, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
Crust Pizza Co. was born from the bond between Clint Price, whose background spans across the restaurant and software sales sectors, and Mark Rasberry, whose expertise lies within the mortgage industry. United by their shared passion for pizza and professional backgrounds, this dynamic duo opened the first Crust Pizza Co. location in The Woodlands, Texas, in January 2011.
By 2019, they paired up with Carl Comeaux and Nicholas Fontenot, leveraging their vast franchise experience to fuel the aggressive growth plans of Crust Pizza Co. Today, the brand has expanded to almost 40 locations across Texas, marking their footprint in Louisiana as well.

The Crust Pizza Co. menu is a delightful blend of classic and unconventional. Traditional options like Pepperoni and Margherita pizzas share space with quirky creations like Madelyn's Alfredo where the flavors of fettuccine Alfredo come alive on pizza dough, Wyatt's Barbecue featuring smoked brisket, red onions and cilantro, and Big Don's, a hearty meat pizza loaded with mozzarella cheese.
A generous salad selection awaits health-conscious diners, while lasagnas and spaghetti give diners an opportunity to step outside the pizza pan. The menu also extends to flatbread sandwiches, with the addition of appetizers like Garlic Knots and Crusted Goat Cheese. Desserts like Common Sticks and cookies by Sweet Street and a dedicated kids' menu add the finishing touches to their offerings.
Crust Pizza Co. also aims to give back to the community. The company supports fundraising events for schools and organizations, generously donating 15% of total sales generated during designated events.
