Conroe ISD Police Launch 24th Annual Toy Drive to Spread Holiday Cheer to Local Children
With the holiday season just around the corner, the Conroe Independent School District Police Department has officially kicked off its 24th Annual Children in Santa’s Dreams Toy Drive, offering community members a heartfelt way to give back.
Now through Friday, December 12, 2025, the department is collecting new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages. The generous donations will be wrapped and distributed to families throughout the district who may otherwise go without gifts this Christmas. As part of a longstanding Conroe ISD tradition, this annual toy drive aims to bring warmth, joy, and a sense of belonging to local children in need during the holidays.
Over the past decade alone, the program has served over 9,200 children in more than 4,000 families. Since its inception in 2002, Children in Santa’s Dreams has delivered holiday magic to 17,000 children, including more than 1,100 just last year. The scale and impact of the effort underscore the dedication of the Conroe ISD Police and the caring nature of the community that supports them.
This year’s collection drive includes 40 convenient drop‑off locations across the district, covering every major feeder zone and including several local businesses. Participating locations include campuses and centers within the Caney Creek, Conroe, Grand Oaks, Oak Ridge, TW College Park, and The Woodlands feeder zones. Local businesses like Prime IV – Conroe, Tachus – The Woodlands, Tenaris – Conroe, and Brookstone are also joining in to support the cause.
