Prescription Drug Take Back Day at Katy ISD Police Headquarters
20370 Franz Road
Katy ,TX 77449
In support of the DEA’s nationwide effort to reduce prescription drug misuse, the Katy ISD Police Department will host National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Katy ISD Law Enforcement Center, located at 20370 Franz Road, Katy, TX 77449.
This free community event provides Katy-area residents a secure and environmentally responsible way to dispose of expired, unused, or unwanted prescription medications. All medications should be dropped off in solid form; no needles or sharps will be accepted, and liquids must remain in their original containers.
This effort, part of the DEA’s national initiative, has helped collect more than 17 million pounds of medication since it began—keeping dangerous drugs out of circulation and helping prevent accidental poisoning, misuse, and environmental contamination.
Whether you’re clearing out your medicine cabinet or helping a loved one do the same, this is an opportunity to take meaningful action for your family's health and the community’s safety.
