Pets in Our Community Summer Camp

This summer, kids can discover the heroic roles animals play in our everyday lives at the Pets in Our Community Summer Camp, hosted by Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP). Tailored for children ages 6 to 8, this hands-on, weeklong camp takes place June 23–27, running Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM.

Pets in Our Community Summer Camp Highlights:

• Explore the work of service animals, therapy pets and police dogs
• Learn how they help those with disabilities, support mental health and assist law enforcement
• Enjoy engaging lessons, animal interactions and even a real visit from a service/police dog

Citizens for Animal Protection, a trusted nonprofit animal shelter and adoption center has provided animal welfare services and community education since 1972. Through programs like this summer camp, CAP continues its mission of building compassion and awareness in the next generation.
