HCESD 48 Fire Department Open House - Station 3

Families are invited to join the HCESD 48 Fire Department for its annual Open House on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, taking place at Station 3 (1773 Westgreen Blvd) and Station 5 (21201 Morton Rd). This free community event is an exciting way to meet local firefighters, learn about emergency response, and enjoy a day packed with interactive safety demonstrations and family activities.

The afternoon will feature:

• Fire Truck & Ambulance Tours – Step inside real emergency vehicles and meet the crews who keep Katy safe.
• Life Flight Helicopter – See an emergency helicopter up close and learn how air rescue teams save lives.
• Spray House Demo – Watch water safety and firefighting demonstrations in action.
• Face Painting & Balloon Artist – Fun for kids of all ages.
• Live Vehicle Extrication – Experience how firefighters safely rescue victims during real-life accidents.
