Fort Bend County Inaugural Gumbo Cook-Off & Vendor Market

We invite you to join us on Sunday, February 18, 2024, for the Fort Bend County Black History Gumbo Cook-Off! Join this exciting celebration with over 30 retail vendors, a fun-filled kids village, live music, DJs, and captivating entertainment for all! And best of all, entry is FREE!

Calling all gumbo teams, we are looking for the best to enter our Fort Bend County & NAACP Missouri City & Vicinity Gumbo Cook-off. The Gumbo Cook-off will feature a People’s Choice award along with winners selected by a panel of judges. Each team will be given a cooking area; all teams are responsible for bringing their own supplies for cooking. Sampling cups, napkins, and judges’ sampling cups will be provided. There will be Trophies and Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place.
