For families who have been meaning to clean out their closets, make room in the garage or find a few bargains without driving all over Katy, this weekend brings a good opportunity to do all three. The Cinco Ranch High School PTSA Garage Sale is happening Saturday, October 24, 2026, bringing local sellers and bargain hunters together for a morning of neighborhood shopping.

Held in the front parking lot of Cinco Ranch High School, the event offers residents in Falcon Ranch and across the Katy area a chance to give gently used belongings a second home, browse a variety of items and connect with other families in the Katy community. For those with children attending Cinco Ranch High School, including families in , it's also an opportunity to participate in an event organized by the school's Parent Teacher Student Association.

When and Where Is the Cinco Ranch High School PTSA Garage Sale?

The garage sale will take place at Cinco Ranch High School, 23440 Cinco Ranch Boulevard, Katy, TX 77494, with shopping open to the public from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 24.

Shoppers can browse participating vendors' booths throughout the morning. As with most community garage sales, merchandise will depend on what individual sellers bring, making it a good opportunity for anyone who enjoys searching for affordable household items, clothing, toys and other secondhand finds.

The event is especially convenient for families living in Cinco Ranch and surrounding Katy neighborhoods who would rather visit multiple sellers in one location than spend their Saturday morning driving between individual garage sales.

Want to Sell? Here's What Vendors Need to Know

Residents interested in selling their own items can reserve parking lot spaces through the Cinco Ranch High School PTSA garage sale registration process. Space is limited, and reservations are confirmed only after payment is received by credit card.

Each vendor reservation includes an 8.5-foot by 18.5-foot selling space plus a separate vehicle parking space. Sellers who need additional room may reserve multiple connected spaces, subject to availability.

Vendors should keep several important requirements in mind:

  • Check-in: 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. on October 24. No vehicles may enter the garage sale area after 7:30 a.m.

  • Sale hours: 8 to 11 a.m. Vendors' vehicles may leave the sale area beginning at 11 a.m.

  • Cleanup: Begins at 11 a.m. and concludes at noon.

  • Equipment: Sellers must bring their own tables, displays and supplies. Electricity, water and setup equipment will not be provided.

  • Parking and merchandise: All items for sale must remain within the assigned booth space, and vehicles must display their permits throughout the event.

  • Refunds: No refunds will be issued unless the event is rescheduled due to weather.

Vendor assignments and instructions will be emailed approximately one to two days before the sale, so participants should watch their inboxes as Saturday approaches. An email address is important for receiving event information.

Katy ISD Security will also be on-site during the event.

Unsold Items Can Find a New Home, Too

One helpful feature of the Cinco Ranch High School PTSA Garage Sale is the availability of a donation pod for eligible unsold merchandise.

Rather than packing everything back into the car, vendors may donate qualifying leftover items at the conclusion of the event. Donations must be placed in bags or boxes, and sellers are responsible for loading their own donations into the pod.

Computers, exercise equipment, mattresses, box springs, broken or unusable items and trash will not be accepted. Vendors must remove any items that do not qualify for donation, along with all remaining waste from their spaces.

For sellers hoping to declutter their homes, this provides another option for keeping usable belongings in circulation rather than taking them back home.

A Saturday Morning That Brings the School Community Together

Parent Teacher Student Associations help strengthen connections among families, educators and students through volunteer involvement, school activities and community participation. At Cinco Ranch High School, events such as the PTSA Garage Sale create opportunities for those connections to extend beyond the classroom.

For Falcon Ranch homeowners, it's a convenient way to tackle some fall cleaning, discover affordable secondhand items and spend a little time with neighbors before the weekend gets busy.

Whether residents are planning to sell a carload of belongings or simply stop by to see what's available, the Cinco Ranch High School PTSA Garage Sale on October 24 offers a reason to get out early and enjoy a familiar Katy tradition of neighbors buying from neighbors.
