Christmas is bringing a little North Pole magic to Champions Park this December, with a holiday gathering that gives families a chance to enjoy time together while supporting some of the neighborhood's youngest entrepreneurs.

The Polar Express Cookies with Santa and Kids Christmas Market will take place Saturday, December 19, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., combining a festive Santa experience with a Christmas shopping opportunity right in the neighborhood.

Families are encouraged to arrive wearing their favorite Christmas pajamas for the Polar Express-themed celebration. Children can enjoy cookies with Santa while neighbors gather to share in the holiday spirit. For Champions Park parents looking for a fun Christmas activity close to home, the event offers an opportunity to make holiday memories without traveling far from the neighborhood.

Champions Park Kids Christmas Market Gives Young Entrepreneurs a Chance to Shine

One of the highlights of this year's celebration is the Kids Christmas Market, where booths will be operated entirely by young entrepreneurs from Champions Park. The market gives neighborhood children an opportunity to experience what it's like to run a small business, interact with customers and share their creativity with the community.

Residents browsing the market can look for unique stocking stuffers and sweet treats while supporting local kids. It's a chance for families to finish some Christmas shopping while encouraging the next generation of neighborhood business owners. For the young participants, every purchase represents more than a sale. It's an opportunity to build confidence, practice new skills and see their neighbors supporting their efforts.

They give neighbors a reason to come together, children a chance to make memories with friends and families an opportunity to support one another. This year's addition of a market run by neighborhood kids makes the celebration especially meaningful, giving young residents a role in bringing the community's holiday festivities to life.

As December approaches, Champions Park families can look forward to a morning of Christmas cookies, festive pajamas, neighborhood shopping and time spent together.
