Champions Park Families Invited to Free Back-to-School Snow Cones With Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office
As families across Champions Park begin organizing school supplies, adjusting schedules and preparing children for another year in the classroom, a free community event is offering them a simple way to pause and enjoy one more summer treat together.
Constable Mark Herman and Harris County Precinct 3 Commissioner Tom Ramsey, in partnership with Sunny Daze, will host a Free Back-to-School Snow Cone Event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, 2026, or while supplies last.
The event will take place at 6817 Cypresswood Drive, behind the Barbara Bush Library.
A Free Back-to-School Outing for Champions Park Families
Children and their families can stop by for a free snow cone, meet deputies from the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office and spend time with neighbors before the new school year begins.
For parents, the event offers an easy and affordable family activity during a season that often comes with additional expenses. For children, it provides a cheerful opportunity to connect with local law enforcement officers in a relaxed setting outside of an emergency or traffic stop.
The gathering is also designed to strengthen the relationship between families and the deputies who serve their neighborhoods. Because Champions Park is served by the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, residents may recognize some of the officers attending the event or have an opportunity to meet members of the agency for the first time.

The free snow cones will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 3, although organizers noted that service may end earlier if supplies run out. Families interested in attending may want to arrive before the final hour.
