CFISD Student of the Week: Juli Sieu Â
Yeager Elementary School fourth grade student Juli Sieu excels both inside and outside of the classroom, as she has been a self-manager for two consecutive years and thrives to be like her older sister.

Accomplishments: Sieu enjoys new challenges. She’s been a self-manager for two consecutive years and is working at the sport of badminton with her mother.
Favorite class: “My favorite classes are math and science because they are both interesting and fun for me. I also get to learn a lot of new things.”
Favorite things to do after class: “When my dad is home, I ask him if we can go to Luby’s because it’s my favorite restaurant. I also like to write stories about my favorite animal, which is a dragon.”
Favorite song: “I like all songs. They are all so catchy.”
Favorite website/app: “Disney+ is my favorite app because they have really interesting movies. My favorite show is The Mandalorian. It has a lot of action and Baby Yoda.”
Favorite TV show: “I like the cake challenge shows. It’s professional bakers judging the cakes and they’re satisfying to watch.”
Favorite movie: “My favorite movies are The Avengers and Ratatouille. It has a lot of action, it’s really exciting and interesting. I also really like Remy the rat.”
Ambition: “I want to be an artist and musician. Music and art are beautiful and masterpieces. It makes me feel good about myself. I would like to get a scholarship.”
What topics/things are you passionate about?: “I’m really passionate about badminton because I’m good at it. The more I practice the better I get. I like to practice in my backyard with my mom. She is better than me and it makes me work harder.”
What inspires you?: “My sister inspires me because she is smart. She is in college and does well in school. I want to be like her.”
What three things can’t you live without?: “Family, friends and all my teachers. Without those three things, I wouldn’t have people to take care of me or have a good education. My teachers have taught me a lot of new things.”
What are you most looking forward to this semester?: “I am looking forward to learning more about reading and writing, and that will help me become a better author for my stories.”
