CFISD Student of the Week: Adriana Vanzant Corpas
Cypress Creek High School junior Adriana Venzant Corpas is praised by teachers for showing exemplary character.

Accomplishments: Corpus was recently recognized for turning in a wallet she found in the hallway. Corpus picked up the wallet, which belonged to a Cypress Creek custodian and contained cash and other important information, and returned it to the proper office. Corpus shared that she would want someone to turn in her wallet if she lost hers, so returning this wallet was the right thing to do. Corpus is also an acting flight commander in Air Force JROTC and her team recently won second place in a competition.
Favorite class: “Air Force JROTC, because it’s an active learning environment and a positive community. I learn a lot in that class.”
Favorite things to do after class: “I enjoy puzzles. I have nine new puppies that I also enjoy caring for.”

What topics/things are you passionate about?: “Family and friends because we are there for each other. Relationships are important to me.”
What inspires you?: “My mom inspires me. She never complains and is strong. She was brave to come to a new country and learn new ways.”
What three things can’t you live without?: “My family, my hair products for my curly hair and my bed.”
