CFISD Softball Players Earn 2023 All-District 16-6A, 17-6A Honors

District 16-6A and District 17-6A softball coaches released their respective 2023 All-District Softball Teams following the conclusion of each team’s season.

In District 16-6A, Langham Creek High School senior Emily Simmons was voted Most Valuable Player while fellow Langham Creek senior Kasey Simmons was voted Defensive Most Valuable Player. Bridgeland High School senior Trinity Allen was named Offensive Most Valuable Player and Bridgeland junior Sydney Jackson was named Pitcher of the Year. Cypress Lakes High School freshman Layla Yslas was voted Newcomer of the Year.

Langham Creek Head Coach Michele Biffle was named Coach of the Year.

Langham Creek High School senior Emily Simmons was voted District 16-6A’s Most Valuable Player.
