Make a Lasting Impact: Become a Mentor in the CFISD Mentor Program

November 14 2024

Are you looking for a meaningful way to make a difference in the lives of local students? The CFISD Mentor Program offers a unique opportunity to give back to the community by guiding students from elementary school through high school toward academic success and future career goals. Whether you're looking to share your experiences, offer support, or simply inspire the next generation, becoming a mentor could be one of the most rewarding ways to contribute. With the next training session coming up on Monday, November 18, 2024, now is the perfect time to get involved and make an impact.

The CFISD Mentor Program is a collaborative effort involving volunteers from various sectors, including businesses, faith-based organizations, non-profit entities, the community, and CFISD itself. The program aims to motivate students from elementary school through high school to complete their education and set their sights on future academic and career aspirations.

A mentor serves as a role model dedicated to assisting students in their academic and social growth. These mentors engage in one-on-one meetings with students on their respective campuses, dedicating approximately 30 minutes each week to their mentorship. Notably, mentors must be at least 18 years of age.
