CFISD District 16-6A Volleyball Players Earn All-District Honors
District 16-6A coaches selected the All-District 16-6A volleyball teams following the conclusion of each team’s 2023 season.
Cypress Ranch High School junior Taylor Porter was named Most Valuable Player. Fellow Cypress Ranch teammate senior Taryn Gilreath was named Outstanding Setter. Cypress Ranch sophomore Zora Bello and Langham Creek High School senior Kennedy Jones were named Co-Outstanding Hitters.
Langham Creek junior Jordan Taylor was named Outstanding Blocker. Bridgeland High School senior Alice Volpe was named Outstanding Defender for the second consecutive year and Bridgeland senior Nylah Gray was named Newcomer of the Year.
Cypress Ranch Head Coach Dr. Collea McKinney was named Coach of the Year.
