CFEF Holds Annual Sporting Clay Tournament Benefitting CFISD Graduating Seniors

On Thursday, August 31, 2023, the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation (CFEF) held its 2nd annual Sporting Clay Tournament at Westside Sporting Grounds, a premier sporting clay club in Katy Texas.

The Sporting Clay Tournament brought new and old sponsors together as outdoor enthusiasts competed to raise scholarship funds for Cypress-Fairbanks ISD graduating seniors. Memorial Hermann Cypress was the Sporting Clay Tournament Underwriter. Dally+ Associates / VLK Architects were the Target Sponsor. Sure Shot Sponsors included ACE Fabricators, Inc., ICI Construction, PBK, Prime Systems, Terracon and Unitas Construction Inc. Lunch was provided by The Backyard Grill and Tacos on the Go by Creekwood Grill after the tournament.

  • 1st Place – Traylor Mechanical (390) – Jason Traylor, Zach Harrison, and Shane Rowe

CFEF was established in 1970 to provide scholarships for Cypress-Fairbanks ISD graduating seniors. This past May, the Foundation provided over $885,700 in scholarships for more than $11.5 million over the past 53 years. CFEF is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by the law.
