Houston Restaurant Weeks 2026 Brings 19 Dining Options to Cypress, Cy-Fair and West Houston
For families across Cypress, Cy-Fair and west Houston, one of the region’s most anticipated dining traditions is returning with something increasingly meaningful behind every reservation.
Houston Restaurant Weeks 2026 will run from Aug. 1 through Sept. 7, giving residents 38 days to explore specially priced prix fixe brunch, lunch and dinner menus. Nineteen participating restaurants have been announced across Cypress, Memorial, Memorial City, CityCentre, the Energy Corridor and nearby west Houston communities.
The event offers diners a chance to revisit a favorite restaurant, plan a date night or discover a new place without committing to a typical full-price dining experience. At the same time, each participating meal supports the Houston Food Bank and helps restaurants navigate what is traditionally one of the industry’s slowest seasons.
That combination may carry added importance in 2026. Rising food and labor costs, tighter margins and a slower summer have placed pressure on restaurants throughout Greater Houston. Diners are also watching their own budgets, making Houston Restaurant Weeks menus a timely option for residents looking for a special meal at a set price.
Cypress and Cy-Fair Restaurants Participating in Houston Restaurant Weeks
The current Cypress and Cy-Fair lineup includes locally familiar destinations serving steak, seafood, Italian food, Mexican dishes and Texas comfort food:
- Clay’s Restaurant — West Houston/Cypress area
- Dario’s Steakhouse & Seafood — Cypress
- Marvino’s Italian Steakhouse — Cypress
- Saltgrass Steak House Cypress — Cypress
- Sotos Cantina #1 — Cypress
- Sotos Cantina #2 — Cypress
The two participating Sotos Cantina locations provide Cypress diners with additional neighborhood options, while Dario’s and Marvino’s give residents opportunities to build a Houston Restaurant Weeks outing around steak, seafood and Italian-inspired dining.
Memorial, CityCentre and Energy Corridor Participating Restaurants
Residents willing to travel a little farther along the Katy Freeway corridor will find another group of participating restaurants across Memorial, Memorial City, Hedwig Village, CityCentre, Spring Branch and the Energy Corridor:

The west Houston list spans a wide range of dining styles, from seafood and steakhouses to Italian cuisine, Latin American flavors, oysters and contemporary American fare. It also includes Bistro Mistral, Kirkwood and North Italia among restaurants identified as new to Houston Restaurant Weeks in 2026.
Menus are being posted on the Houston Restaurant Weeks website and will continue to be updated as the Aug. 1 opening date approaches. Because meal periods, pricing, reservation requirements and menu availability can vary by restaurant, diners should review the individual menu before making plans.
A Houston Tradition Built Around Restaurants and Hunger Relief
Houston Restaurant Weeks was founded in 2003 by the late Cleverley Stone, a longtime Houston restaurant correspondent and philanthropist. Stone created the campaign around a straightforward idea: encourage people to dine out during August, support restaurants during a difficult month and direct part of the proceeds toward hunger relief.
The campaign is now produced by The Cleverley Stone Foundation, led by Stone’s daughter, Katie Stone. Houston Restaurant Weeks has grown into the largest annual fundraiser benefiting the Houston Food Bank, raising more than $23 million since its creation and helping provide the equivalent of more than 70 million meals.
“My mother started Houston Restaurant Weeks in 2003 to help restaurants through their hardest month, and that mission has never mattered more than it does right now,” Katie Stone said. “So many of our restaurants are fighting to stay open in a difficult economy. When Houstonians choose to Dine Out & Do Good, they are not only helping feed families through the Houston Food Bank, they are throwing a lifeline to the local businesses and the people behind them who make this city what it is. Every reservation truly makes a difference.”
The foundation also produces Eat Drink HTX each February, continuing Cleverley Stone’s broader mission of connecting Houston’s dining community with charitable support.
How Houston Food Bank Serves Southeast Texas
Houston Food Bank has served Houston and Southeast Texas since 1982. Working through approximately 1,600 community partners, including food pantries, schools, soup kitchens and social-service organizations, the food bank provides access to an estimated 143 million nutritious meals across 18 counties.
Its work extends beyond emergency food distribution. Houston Food Bank also connects families with nutrition education, health-management resources and assistance programs designed to address some of the underlying causes of food insecurity.
For west Houston residents, that means a Houston Restaurant Weeks reservation can have more than one local effect. It supports the restaurant preparing the meal, the servers and kitchen staff working through a difficult summer, and a regional hunger-relief network serving families during periods of hardship.
What Diners Should Know Before Making Reservations
More than 350 restaurants are expected to participate across Greater Houston in 2026. The restaurant list and menus will be updated daily leading up to the start of the event, so additional Cypress, Cy-Fair or west Houston locations could still be announced.
Residents should check whether their chosen restaurant is offering brunch, lunch, dinner or a combination of meal periods. Reservations are encouraged where available, particularly for weekends and popular dinner times.
For many Cypress and west Houston families, Houston Restaurant Weeks has become an annual reason to gather around the table. This year, it also provides a practical way to support the restaurants that help shape the area’s identity while contributing to hunger relief throughout Southeast Texas.
