Celebrate Veterans Day Weekend at the 9th Annual Boots for Troops Concert in the Country in Magnolia

July 31 2024

The much-anticipated 9th Annual Boots for Troops Concert in the Country is returning to Magnolia this fall. Set to honor our nation's heroes, this star-studded country music festival will be held on Veterans Day Weekend, November 8-9.

This year's extravaganza is shaping up to be the grandest event yet, boasting an impressive lineup of country music artists, delectable food trucks, a BBQ showdown, a thrilling cornhole tournament, and family-friendly activities. All profits from the event will directly benefit men and women in uniform through custom care packages and support services.

Boots for Troops, the innovative non-profit behind the concert, holds a deep-rooted connection to the military tradition. It was conceptualized by Jimmy Rogers, a Tomball native, and United States Navy veteran. During his tenure in Norfolk, Virginia, Rogers identified the disparity among soldiers receiving care packages and those who did not. Determined to uplift the spirits of his comrades and boost their morale, Rogers, along with his wife Lindsey, founded Boots for Troops. The non-profit raised over $100,000 in the first year itself, delivering personalized care packages containing a pair of hand-picked boots to deployed soldiers across the globe.

Jimmy Rogers, the Co-Founder of Boots for Troops, shared his enthusiasm for this year's event, “This year’s event is going to be incredible. We have an amazing lineup of country music artists, exciting activities, and a community coming together to support our troops. We can't wait to celebrate Veterans Day Weekend with everyone!”

The concert's celebrity presence is marked by country music legend Pam Tillis, who will headline the event's innovative "Female Friday" or ladies night. Emerging artist Bailey Rae is set to open for Tillis. The subsequent day boasts an impressive lineup including Montgomery Gentry, Tyler Farr, Cory Morrow, Jake Bush, Mike Donnell, Steve Helms, and Ben McPherson.

The show will take place at Show Sports Farm, 32931 Wright Rd. Magnolia, TX 77355. The timings are 5 PM on Friday and 3 PM on Saturday. Tickets for the event are now available online at concertinthecountry.org.

Dust off your boots and mark your calendar for a thrilling weekend of country music, delicious food, and community spirit, all in honor of our nation’s heroes. Be part of the 9th Annual Boots for Troops Concert and help make a difference in the lives of our country's service members.
