March 03 2024

Art In The Bend, an annual one-day art festival, will once again grace Morton Street in Richmond on April 6, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This exciting event, organized by the Historic Richmond Association, is known for its unique blend of visual and performance art exhibits, along with food vendors, live music performances, and diverse activities appealing to a wide range of interests.

Art In The Bend is proud to showcase a variety of talented artists, from well-established to emerging ones, and their handcrafted art pieces ranging from traditional to contemporary. The diversity of art forms is a testament to the enriched cultural scene in Richmond, providing an engaging platform for artists and art lovers alike.

Adding a quirky twist to the typical art festival, Art In The Bend also hosts Motor Madness, a display of unique and eye-catching cars and trucks. Car enthusiasts will have the opportunity to mingle, discuss specs, and admire the range of vehicles on display.

Dog lovers are not left out either. The adorable Bark In The Park parade and contest is a regular crowd-pleaser, with categories ranging from 'Top Dog' to 'Best Costume', and even 'Best Look-A-Like'. Pet owners are encouraged to embrace the spirit of fun and creativity, creating a joyful atmosphere.

Music is an integral part of Art In The Bend, with live performances intended to move the soul and inspire spontaneous dancing. Amidst all of the excitement  of the event, these music performances provide a space for individuals to relax, unwind, and connect with each other.

Potential vendors and sponsors can apply via forms available on the event's official website or by sending applications via mail. Art Aficionado Sponsorship options are also available for those who wish to financially support the event.

Participants' enjoyment is, ultimately, the priority for the Art In The Bend organizers. It's more than just an art festival; it's an experience, the one that showcases the most treasured gems of Texas passions.
