Bexar County Voting Wait-Times Map Helps Voters Choose Where to Cast a Ballot

Finding time to vote can be difficult between work, school pickups and other daily commitments. Bexar County has introduced a voting wait-times map to help residents compare polling locations before leaving home, potentially making the trip to cast a ballot easier to plan.

The Bexar County Elections Department announced the tool on October 20, 2026, ahead of the November 3 general election. Its official voting locations and wait-times map lets voters review reported waits at participating sites and consider a location with a shorter line.

How to Plan a Voting Trip

Voters can open the county's map before traveling, compare the displayed wait information and then confirm the chosen site's address and operating hours. Waits can change as people arrive, so a shorter reported line should be treated as a planning aid rather than a promise of how long voting will take.

The county's November 3 Election Information page brings together a voter registration check, individual sample ballot searches, early voting locations and hours, and Election Day vote center information. Reviewing a sample ballot ahead of time can also help residents prepare for their visit.

Where to Find Official Voting Locations and Hours

The county's 2026 early voting locations document includes the Converse Community Event Center at 407 S. Seguin Road in Converse, the Southwest ISD Administration Building at 11914 Dragon Lane in San Antonio, and the Southside ISD Administration Building at 1460 Martinez Losoya in San Antonio.

Because locations and hours depend on the voting period, residents should consult the county's current official election information rather than relying on a past visit or assuming every site follows the same schedule. Early voting runs October 19 through October 30, 2026. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3.

Questions About Voting?

For help confirming registration, finding a site or understanding official voting information, residents can contact the Bexar County Elections Department at 210-335-VOTE (8683). Checking the map and election resources before heading out can make a busy day a little easier to manage.
