According to our local Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the crime around Copperfield is on the rise. Although there is minimal criminal activity within our Southdown Community, there have been several incidents in our surrounding area.

Leave valuables or money locked inside your car. Some reported incidents have involved persons being followed, especially after visiting a bank and then their car being broken into or assaulted in their driveway.

Be alert and aware of your surroundings as you are getting in and out of your car. When you are driving, make sure that you are not being followed. You can always make an extra loop around your block before you pull into your driveway.
