Applications for Willowfork Citizen Fire Academy Now Open
Have you ever wanted to know what it takes to be a firefighter? The Fort Bend County Emergency Services District has the perfect opportunity for you.
The Willowfork Fire Department is hosting its first-ever Citizens Fire Academy this fall. During the six-week course, participants will learn about the firefighters and their tools and equipment, get CPR trained and certified and take part in a staged fire training in full firefighter gear.
Classes will run from October 4 through November 9 and will be held on Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Each class will take place at the Fort Bend County ESD No. 2 Station, located at 26950 Cinco Ranch Boulevard, Katy, TX 77494.
Registration is now open through September 25. Participants must be at least 18 years of age and must live in Fort Bend ESD No. 2 Fire District.
