26th Annual Salute to the Stars Gala Announced
On Thursday, March 9, 2023, the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation (CFEF) will celebrate the 26th Anniversary of Salute to the Stars at the Berry Center. The evening will recognize 97 Cypress-Fairbanks ISD (CFISD) Teacher of the Year honorees - 93 teachers, 2 paraeducators, and 2 support staff from the 2022-2023 academic year.
Celebrating the Teacher of the Year honorees are Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union, gala Underwriter; Arcadis|IBI Group, Academy Award Superintendent Sponsor; and The Howard Hughes Corporation, Teacher of the Year Friends & Family Sponsor. Greeted by a CFISD high school drill team, guests and honorees will begin their evening with the highly anticipated Razzle Dazzle Raffle and reception, hors d’oeurves provided by Culinary Arts students from each high school. The gala will include dinner, entertainment, bid board, raffle, and drawings for honorees culminating with an exciting car giveaway from Underwriter, Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union, and Northwest Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram.
CFEF was established in 1970 as a non-profit to provide scholarships for Cypress-Fairbanks ISD graduating seniors. This May, the Foundation will provide almost $870,000 in scholarships for a total of just under $11.5 million over the past 53 years. CFEF is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by the law.
