Williamsburg Colony HOA Board to Discuss Community Priorities, Safety Services and Long-Term Planning at June Meeting
For Williamsburg Colony homeowners, the monthly HOA board meeting serves as an important opportunity to stay informed about the decisions, projects, and planning efforts that help shape daily life throughout the community.
The Williamsburg Colony Maintenance Association Board of Directors will meet on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, with an executive session beginning at 6:00 p.m. and an open session beginning at 7:00 p.m. at 2315 John Crump Lane in Katy.
The meeting agenda includes discussions ranging from neighborhood safety and financial updates to community amenities, beautification efforts, and long-term reserve planning—topics that can affect everything from property values and community appearance to future maintenance and budgeting.
Community Safety Among Key Discussion Topics
One of the most notable items on the agenda is a consultation with the Harris County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) regarding law enforcement service options and contractual considerations.
While that discussion is scheduled during executive session, residents can expect an executive session summary during the open portion of the meeting.
Neighborhood safety continues to be a top priority for many Williamsburg Colony families, making updates related to law enforcement services an area of significant community interest.
Committee Updates Will Cover Community Amenities and Programs
Residents attending the meeting can also expect reports from several volunteer committees that help support neighborhood programs and amenities.
Scheduled committee reports include updates related to:
- Community events
- Communications
- Landscape and beautification projects
- Clubhouse matters
- Common areas
- Playground facilities
- Pool operations
- Safety awareness initiatives
- Architectural Control Committee (ACC) activities
- Nominations
- Yard of the Month recognition
These committee reports provide insight into the ongoing work taking place throughout Williamsburg Colony and offer residents a better understanding of projects and initiatives happening behind the scenes.
Financial Planning and Reserve Study Review on Agenda
The Board will also review the association's financial report and consider an updated reserve study proposal.
Reserve studies are an important planning tool used by homeowners associations to evaluate the long-term repair and replacement needs of community assets such as amenities, infrastructure, landscaping features, and common areas. Regular updates help associations plan responsibly for future expenses while maintaining community standards.
For homeowners, discussions surrounding reserve planning can provide valuable insight into the community's long-term financial outlook.
Homeowners Encouraged to Participate
The agenda includes a Homeowner Open Forum, giving residents an opportunity to address the Board directly. Each homeowner will have up to three minutes to speak.
Open forums often provide residents with a chance to ask questions, share concerns, offer suggestions, or highlight issues affecting their section of the neighborhood.
Community participation remains one of the most effective ways for residents to stay engaged and help guide the future of Williamsburg Colony.
