Westheimer Lakes Residents Invited to Fort Bend County Commissioners Court Meeting on July 22

July 17 2025

Fort Bend County residents in Westheimer Lakes will have an opportunity to observe local government in action on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, as the Fort Bend County Commissioners Court convenes for its next regular meeting from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Commissioners Court Room, located inside the Historic Fort Bend County Courthouse at 401 Jackson Street in Richmond.

While the official agenda for the meeting had not yet been published at the time of this article’s release, residents are encouraged to stay informed and check the Fort Bend County website for updates prior to the session.

Community engagement encouraged at the July 22 meeting

As one of the most populous and rapidly growing counties in Texas, Fort Bend County’s Commissioners Court plays a critical role in shaping policies that affect infrastructure, public safety, health services, and economic development. The court, which includes the County Judge and four Commissioners representing precincts across the county, meets regularly to vote on contracts, approve budgets, and hear from constituents.

Residents who wish to address the court may do so in person by completing a Public Participation Form, available online at publicspeakers.fortbendcountytx.gov. These forms must be submitted in person by 12:45 PM on the day of the meeting to be considered.

Those who cannot attend in person can still follow proceedings live through the official Fort Bend County Commissioners Court live stream, accessible here
