Residents have two opportunities to do just that in the coming days and weeks. From a special International Potluck Bunco Game Night to the community's ongoing Mahjong Tuesdays, there's something for both newcomers and longtime residents looking to get involved.
Celebrate Culture, Friendship and Food at the International Potluck Bunco Night
Residents are invited to an evening of fun, conversation and friendly competition during the International Potluck Bunco Game Night on Friday, July 3, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the WLPOA Canyon Gate Clubhouse, located at 25501 Canyon Crossing Drive.
The evening adds an international twist to the popular Bunco gathering by encouraging attendees to bring a favorite dish that represents their heritage, culture or a cherished family tradition. It's a chance to sample foods from around the world while enjoying one of the community's favorite social games.
Whether someone has played Bunco for years or is joining for the first time, the event is designed to be welcoming and focused on what matters most—good food, great company and bringing the neighborhood together.

Weekly Mahjong Tuesdays Continue in Westheimer Lakes
Residents looking for a regular daytime activity can also join the community's Mahjong Tuesdays, held every Tuesday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Westheimer Lakes Canyon Gate Clubhouse, 25501 Canyon Crossing Drive.
Mahjong is a centuries-old tile-based game that combines strategy, skill and social interaction, making it a favorite pastime for players around the world. Weekly games offer participants a relaxed setting to sharpen their skills, learn from experienced players and enjoy an afternoon with fellow residents.
