Westheimer Lakes Neighbors Invited to Weekly Mahjong, Monthly Bunco and International Potluck This Summer
For many Westheimer Lakes residents, some of the best parts of community living happen when neighbors come together, share a few laughs, and build friendships. This summer, residents have several opportunities to do exactly that through regular Mahjong gatherings, monthly Bunco nights, and a special International Potluck event.
Every Tuesday afternoon from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., neighbors are invited to gather at the Canyon Gate Clubhouse for a friendly game of Mahjong. Whether participants are experienced players or simply enjoy spending time with fellow residents, the weekly gatherings offer a welcoming way to stay engaged within the community.
Residents who enjoy a little friendly competition can also join the community's monthly Bunco Night. The next Bunco event will take place on June 19, providing another opportunity for neighbors to connect and enjoy an evening of fun together.
International Potluck Brings Global Flavors to Westheimer Lakes
Looking ahead to July, the Bunco group is expanding the fun with an International Potluck on July 3. Residents are encouraged to bring and share a favorite dish, creating an opportunity to celebrate different cultures, traditions, and family recipes while getting to know neighbors from across the community.
Events like these help strengthen the sense of connection that makes Westheimer Lakes a special place to call home. Whether attending for the games, the food, or the friendships, residents will find plenty of opportunities to meet new people and enjoy time with neighbors.
