Westheimer Lakes HOA Holiday Reminder: Fireworks Are Prohibited and Office & Amenity Hours for the July 4 Weekend

Westheimer Lakes HOA Holiday Reminder: Fireworks Are Prohibited and Office & Amenity Hours for the July 4 Weekend

July 02 2026

As families across Westheimer Lakes get ready to celebrate the Fourth of July weekend, the community is reminding residents that a safe holiday starts with knowing the neighborhood rules and where to turn if assistance is needed.

While fireworks are a longtime holiday tradition, Westheimer Lakes' Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (DCC&R) prohibits the discharge of fireworks anywhere within the community. The policy is designed to help protect homes, residents, pets, landscaping, and common areas from the risk of fire, injury, and property damage.

With many nearby public celebrations and professional fireworks displays taking place throughout the region, residents are encouraged to enjoy those events while helping keep Westheimer Lakes safe and peaceful for everyone.

Safety Comes First This Holiday Weekend

The Fourth of July is one of the busiest weekends of the year for first responders. Preventing accidental fires and reducing unnecessary emergency calls helps keep resources available for situations where they're needed most.

If residents witness unsafe activity or have concerns related to fireworks or other public safety issues, they are encouraged to contact the Fort Bend County Constable's Office, Precinct 1, at 281-238-1430

Working together helps protect neighbors, families, pets, and community property throughout the holiday weekend.
